Sukabumi Regency | Gardapelitanews. com – Jahid, the Head of Datarnangka Village, Sagaranten Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, expressed his concerns regarding the damage to the road caused by a flash flood in the Ci Erih Hamlet area, Sagaranten Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency.
“I hope the Sukabumi Regency Government can promptly address the condition of our damaged village roads. The regency road serves as the main access route between villages and subdistricts for our residents’ daily activities. However, its current state is very concerning. We earnestly hope that the regency government will allocate a budget to repair the roads and bridges,” Jahid explained.
Touching upon aid provided for flood victims, Jahid added, *”Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), regarding the aid, the Chairman of the Sukabumi Regency DPRD (Regional People’s Representative Council), H. Budi Azhar, has distributed assistance to residents affected by the flood in Ci Erih Hamlet, Datarnangka Village, as well as in Curuguhur Village, Sagaranten Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province,”* he said.
On the same occasion, Teguh, a representative of the Sukabumi Regency DPRD, informed the media, *”I have been instructed by the Chairman of the Sukabumi Regency DPRD, H. Budi Azhar, to monitor the distribution of humanitarian aid to flood victims. Currently, the Chairman (H. Budi Azhar) is out of town for a work visit, but after completing his visit, he plans to meet directly with flood and landslide victims in Sukabumi Regency. Yesterday, we distributed aid to Curugluhur Village, and today we are in Datarnangka Village. Next, we plan to distribute aid in Pabuaran Subdistrict, which has several locations affected by floods and landslides. However, we need to assess the condition of the roads to ensure smooth logistics mobilization. As of now, the road is not yet accessible to four-wheeled vehicles. If road access becomes passable for four-wheelers, we will immediately proceed to the next location,”* Teguh explained.
On behalf of the entire Datarnangka Village community, Jahid expressed his gratitude to all parties involved, including the West Java Police Department, the Chairman of the Sukabumi DPRD, the Sukabumi Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Sukabumi Regency Health Department, the Sagaranten Subdistrict leadership, and all others who provided moral and material assistance. *”May all their efforts be rewarded with countless blessings (Aamiin),”* he said.
In a separate location, Paoji, accompanied by the Pabuaran Subdistrict Head, reported that several areas affected by landslides and floods include Cibadak Village, Pabuaran Village, Lembursawah Village, and Sirnasari Village. *”That is all,”* he concluded.
